On August 16, you received an announcement regarding Blue Cross Dental policy changes. This message shows you an easy way to confirm a patient’s eligibility before those changes took effect.

When viewing benefits on My Patients’ Benefits, you will now notice that the Coverage Effective date indicates 9/1/16, reflecting the date that previously announced policy changes were applied to your patients’ plan. To confirm past eligibility, you can click on the Check Past link next to the present Coverage Effective date. This will bring up a calendar feature enabling you to choose another date to confirm past coverage. You will be able to view coverage dating back to 9/1/2015.
